On the evening of Friday March 23rd from 6:00 to 11:00, Halls Catering will be hosting “Revisit 1977” at the historic Philmore Theater on Broadway, part of their Supper Club Series of events. Guests will be treated to the cuisine of the era, along with music from two classic albums released in that year.
The first will be Rumors by Fleetwood Mac, performed by Sunny Taylor and Alicia Pyle.
And the second is The Stranger by Billy Joel, performed by Mike Conley.
Alicia and I visited the Philmore last week to record a conversation with Tim Hall, representing the family business, Carrie Riepenhoff, who’s in charge of organizing the event, marketing, and coordination, and Mike Conley, who told us about how he decided to perform Billy Joel’s classic album. Alicia also had a chance to tell us why she chose Rumors and why she loves Fleetwood Mac.
