One of the world's top Jazz Violinists, Christian Howes, a Yamaha Performing Artist, will be the resident expert working with music students February 15, focusing on improvisation techniques and alternative styles. His visit culminates with an evening performance for the greater Fort Wayne community, featuring Canterbury musicians and local artist Alicia Pyle, piano. The joint concert will showcase unique and fun jazz and alternative styles music. Tickets available at the door (cash only): $8/adult and $5/student.
The concert will be held in the Canterbury Middle School Auditorium (5601 Covington Road, park in the South Bend Drive lot, enter Door 19), Thursday, Feb. 15, at 7 p.m.
